Smoky Manbaby Ribs
Makes: 6 to 8 servings Cooking Method: Baking, Grill
Marinade
½ cup canola oil
Juice of 1 lemon
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Chicken
1 slab of ribs
Manbaby Sauce
1 cup Manbaby Sauce (Original Honey Smoke Savory Sauce)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Marinade
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the canola oil, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and dried thyme.
Add the ribs to the bowl and coat them thoroughly in the marinade.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours
Step 2: Preheat Your Cooking Equipment
For grilling: Preheat your grill to medium heat.
For baking: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 3: Grill or Bake the ribs
Remove the ribs from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade.
If grilling: Place the ribs on the grill, skin side down. Cook for about 10–15 minutes per side, turning occasionally.
If baking: Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Bake for 90–200 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the ribs reaches an internal temperature of 200°F.
Step 4: Baste with Manbaby Sauce
During the last 10 minutes of cooking (whether grilling or baking), generously brush the chicken with Manbaby Sauce. Repeat this 2–3 times to build up a sticky, flavorful glaze.
For extra caramelization, increase the grill heat or place the baked chicken under the broiler for 3–5 minutes after basting.
Step 5: Serve and Enjoy
Remove the ribs from the grill or oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Serve hot with additional Manbaby Sauce on the side for dipping.
Tips for Serving
Pair with classic sides like coleslaw, cornbread, grilled veggies, or potato salad.
Use spicy Manbaby Sauce for a kick, or mix the original and spicy for a balanced heat level.
